This is a great little compressor for smaller jobs. I have yet to get this Senco 1 gallon repaired. This compressor is really only for a brad nailer or pin nailer, but honestly if you are using it a lot say for running trim through an entire house then you need a bigger compressor.
I repeat can NOT. Something went out on it telling it when to shut off causing it to run constantly unless you manually turned it off. You cannot use anything bigger than a brad nailer with this compressor.
I've personally had this compressor for about 5 years, but over the last 2 I stopped using it. If you try to use a finish nailer it can't keep up and it will run all the time causing burn out of the motor. A framing nailer is pretty funny because it will shoot about four nails and then kick back on.
After that I started using my other finish compressor with a bigger tank. Honestly, if I had to purchase another one gallon I would get the Dewalt because it is so much quieter.I'm a custom home builder/general contractor and a carpenter for 15 years before that.
Nice little machine. A pity it does not pump fast enough to spray longer.Works well though.
For trim work, which is slower, it does a beautiful job. This unit works very well, as advertised, for small jobs. Definitely not for any sort of production, such as hanging doors, where you drive a lot of nails in a hurry. Very portable, quiet. Only drawback that I see so far, is that the slightest leak in a connection will really drag it down.
We bought this compressor for our remodeling business to mostly run brad nailers and a drywall texture gun. It is very quiet and has enough cfm to run our brad guns. I don't think it would keep up with a framing or roofing nailer. Very light weight and quiet.
I think it is priced very reasonably also. This is a great little compressor. It is very light, quiet, and has a descent air recovery time. It's perfect for running finish and brad nailers and light enough for my wife to carry. Very pleased so far.
